Hired Victor for plumbing/construction work. Explained in detail what was needed. He was on time/reasonably priced and was very nice.

Short story: Victor was called for a sudden emergency that happened at 10 p.m and turned a sudden stressful situation to an easy fix. His rates were very fair for how urgent the situation was and when further work was needed the next day, he came by doing it for free, even refusing to take additional pay for He takes pride in his work. Long story: My girlfriends entire closet had fallen (landlord had put a cheap everbilt wire frame closet) and with my work schedule there was no way i could have time to help repair. We googled any nearby handyman because we wanted a professional due to her renting the room. We saw the reviews for Victor and had to trust them. He suprised us by saying he is in San Jose heading home but will be willing to go to fremont to help due to this being an emergency. He arrived with his coworker and immediately began working on fixing it. They were quick and assured us if anything happens, he will fix it for free because of the pride in his work. The next day we noticed it start to bend a bit and Victor recommended we buy a heavy duty brand of closet from Home Depot, send him a picture of what we buy, and he will install it. He was very easy to communicate with and always responded. He came by the next day and installed the entire new closet, even cuting the wire frames so they fit the closet precisely since the Kit would have left us with gaps in the closet. Because of all the additional work we wanted to tip him at least $150 but he refused and said its bad business to take additional money after we had already paid. The closet has been up with no issues and is far better then what i, a novice, could of done. 100% recommended Victor for anything from a broken door, locked out the house, installing a new shelf, building Ikea, or anything requiring craftsmanship. He knew how important a fallen closet was to my girlfriend and did not treat it as a small issue, even referring to it as an emergency.
